New Co-ordination Unit Premises
Sunday, 07 November 2010 20:00

The Child Care Services operated by the City of Cockburn have recently moved into a wonderful purpose built Co-ordination Unit at the Coolbellup Community Hub, 90 Cordelia Avenue Coolbellup.  The Child Care Services includes Family Day Care (FDC), In Home Child Care (IHC) and Outside School Hours Care.  The FDC and IHC Services are not limited to the City and therefore cover a wide area in both the southern and northern suburbs of Perth. The Hub also includes Cities Family Support Services as well as the Coolbellup Library.  These services all complement one another beautifully.

Celebrations have included an Opening Ceremony with Mayor Logan Howlett JP and theguests also enjoyed touring the new premises which included being able to  observe children and Educators (both FDC and IHC) with the Play Session Facilitator during the morning Play Session.

Following the official opening the FDC and IHC Services enjoyed a Pot Luck dinner together with staff to welcome each other to the new environment.  Educators and staff enjoyed a relaxed evening together which culminated with the Child Care Services Manager, Sandra Taylor, distributing a Family Day Care Australia bag of goodies along with advertising materials provided by the FDC Scheme.
